Gasoline Rainbows Poem by Barry Middleton

Gasoline Rainbows

oil and water mix
to form gasoline rainbows
they are a shimmering

we need not lose ourselves
in working together
we just may find ourselves

we can create a rainbow
like dull puddles
transformed to miracles

oil and water mix
to reflect the sun
and speak of hope and unity

let all people join hands
the rain is ceasing now
we must create a rainbow
