Gaudy

We all know what 'gaudy' means.
Gays are happy that 'gay' isn't that.

But it means 'feast' too:

At 53 in 1960
Auden attended his old college's Gaudy,
beginning his toast, 'Ah!
Those Twenties before I was twenty.'

He was born in '07, you see.
