Generalizations Poem by Noemi Lee

Generalizations

Not all Americans
Eat their meat rare
And there must be one Indian
Who does not like curry
I know African Americans
who cannot stand rap
And Asians who do not
play an instrument
There are Jews who
do not wear black hats
And white people who
are poor.

These things are not impossible.
Why do you think they are?

The world is bigger
Than what you see
Outside of your window.
Consider all.
Consider all.
