Genres Of Love Poem by Ana Sanchez

Genres Of Love

What was, now is not.
How can you undo,
and do what was done to me
Your the light that in the dark
flared a bright smile in my
darkness for days.
Catching each of my senses
that brought me back
to an hour of love I saved.
Kissing each moment
true bliss and in the eyes of you.
Mesmerized in time to trap,
your genuine figure in my mind for months.
This love has paused and played
with genres to go without a cause
so why would you deny yourself
the honor of love. When midnight
strikes I should perish like smoke
in the air. So why don't you press play
So I can appear again.
