George At The Shore Poem by delilah contrapunctal.... yes, that's how I intended to spell it.........

George At The Shore

you run against the wind
with your ears blown back
your dance follows the screech of gulls
as they turn, circle, dive and skim
your pas de quatre
an exercise in grace and longing
four feet in quick time
tail and tongue as flapping banners
