George the dragon was terribly tall,
But all he truely wanted was to be small
His friend were only half his size
But they were decent enough guys,
Not to make fun of his height,
They were kind and honest, and truthful and polite.
Then one day an angel came to him,
From out back, near the garbage bin.
'Make a wish! ' the angel said,
As George climbed out, from his bed.
'I wish, ' said George, 'that I was tall,
Like Jane and Jack, and Peter and Paul.'
Suddenly the wish was granted!
George shrank and stared and puffed and panted,
Looking in the mirror he cried with laughter,
And lived happily ever after.

Note - we dont all have angels (or money for surgery) so stick with what you got! *no matter what you think your chin looks like*
Well, it's a really cute poem for a children's book! Write another, see how it goes ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! -G.H
Nice little storyline, and good flow. I think though that you may mean 'I wish', said George, 'that I was small' not 'tall'. Just an observation. Love Ernestine XXX

This poem is amazing, I feel so zen now that I have read it. I can really understand what you're going through, I too have emotional problems regarding my height. One word......................................................................................amazing. (Wow, I love ellipsis.)
