Get No Better - Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

How many times did you have a moment like now?
you know what i'm talking about
I know your little secret
But i ain't going to keep it

I was the one you had on the side
Saw smoke vacated when things caught fire
I was the secret you would try and hide
Feelings for you afterwards expired

i was thinking that you would be different
And it looks you've proved me wrong
so unfortunate, you've lost my interest
Game over, i refuse to play along

Topic(s) of this poem: cheat, cheating, hurt, love, love and loss, pain
