Getting Out Of Hell - Poem by Nick Kler

When you think
it's finally over
And you are ready
to move out

Shadows that shared with you
Pieces of your life
Start to feel betrayed

Walls that consoled you
When you were all alone
Heard your story
A million times over

They are now
quietly sobbing in pain
What would you say to them?
That could console them

How would you give them back?
All the love you stole

Topic(s) of this poem: death, life, loneliness
