Ghazni
For too long
-the news of Afghans
-has meant this:
- "Showing teeth,
- (clear, cloudy)
-both inside and afar,
-wild mankind,
-old and young,
-from swords to cannons
-and today's testing bombs! "
-Afghan birds turned drones!
Everyday reads news:
- (different are the ways)
"Killed! "
"Killed! "
"Killed! "
-with figures!
What a shame!
It's enough!
It's enough!
It's enough!
I, as one
-feel guilty
-embarrassed!
Hear me the devil
-Putin and Donald Trump,
-Pakistan and China,
-Istanbul and Tehran…
Hear me the evil
-narrow mind and dogma!
Let's stop:
- "Will kill; killed! "
Let's stop…
I was there in time of Taliban
-ran away to join wife,
-needed hugs
-from each, every child.
Was thrown like a ball
-arms to arms, over walls,
-and again…
Not for fun;
-from bars;
-to be safe
-from death!
Yes, it was dangerous.
What is life when apart?
-as father was obliged
-to take risk to unite.
Rolled and rolled like marble
-in my mind "live today,
-in hope of tomorrow,
-with kids, wife
-sharing life,
-roof, ceiling."
But schools were trips
-searching and researching, involving
-with Afghans…
Ghazni was one of them;
-Taliban were rulers on surface!
USA and Russia, Pakistan
-stirred depths!
We stayed at hotel
-suddenly were removed and hidden
-in donkey's stable:
- "They are here…"
-Mentioned "They" talked Urdu!
