Ghost - Poem by Punk Nona

This city has my soul;
I walk it's streets,
I ride it's buses,
I devour it's greasy food-
everything takes a piece of me
demands more.
I am it's Urban Captee.
I look in the reflexion
of the shop windows
just to be sure
I'm actually here
wandering this city
with it's imitation sky scrapers
reaching into the abyss
reaching up and out
to where I'll never reach.
It takes me, this city
making me seem like
someone I'm not
at the same time never
letting me forget who I am.
