Ghosting Poem by Jennifer Rose

Ghosting

Picking up the suitcase
Looking back at my path
The eyes burning holes
What have I done?
Doors begin to close
Lights and thoughts flicker
Voices echo behind me
House emptied of memories
Dreams haunting every dark moment
I was always a ghost
