There were days when giants walked the earth, man.
there were days when giants walked the earth

But not no more, man
they’re gone now

But they were here
and the stony ground quivered beneath their feet
and they shook you
they shook you, man

I know this

This is certain

These giants,
they were here

I know they were

‘cause I’ve heard Billie Holiday sing, man
I’ve seen her
on old videotape
black and white
and grainy

But I’ve seen her

Giants, man — giants

A long time ago
gone now
