There's a girl on the street
A child, not more than five
Her feet are bare, clothes a ragged affair,
And her hair unkempt.
Her eyes, sunken and deep
Can't speak of the horrors
She must have seen.
Now quite alone,
In a world not meant for her
She looks,
As life goes on around her.

This is the poem of yours I like best because you are able to get to and reveal the soul of this poor, little girl. Well done!
Thank you so much!
