Give Me No Love Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Give Me No Love

I keep asking you questions like, 'Babe, why? '
Don't even think about telling a lie
Don't even think about acting surprised

keep giving you loving, you're giving out nothing

Guilt have tears form in your eyes, out come of this case is thrown
All you can do is cry
haven't been good to me, Chosen to leave you alone

It's a little too hard to look you in the eye
tragedy struck us late one night
Flipped us over both left to die
you wouldn't say just what lead to our destruction
tell me something, Ain't no way your heart strayed and found another when it's supposed to be mine

I'm just so confused, thinking we were fine
Messing with my head to think this whole time
this flame had died
no receipts but you've got excuses to show
things won't be like they were before
know that I forgive you, there isn't no us anymore
