Give Me Some More Poem by Chris Jibero

Give Me Some More

Reading the wonderful compositions
You effortlessly churn out
Give me some kick
Nothing negative at all
As drunkard would get
From abasing alcohol
Nor a drug addict from a nerve-shattering shot

Wholesome you and yours are
Cheery, invigorating and elevating
A large dose of spirituality unmatched
Unwittingly dispensed
Impalpable but felt like sweet breeze
Sipping through my pores to the bottom
Of my heart to seek asylum
Readily granted by my expectant soul
With attractive welfare attached
A vessel bearing tons of joy cargo to discharge

True, elated I am whenever yours greets
My fastidious eyes that feed my soul and spirit
That see others in your class as dwindling dwarfs
And never cease to give me some more for you might be
The cook preparing my long-awaited food of love.
