You turned the light on
As if the battle was won
You smiled little
As I turned gentle

No, it was an open invite
Sure suggestion to invade
And ignite the passion
There was no confusion

Gentleman in me revolted
She had given me enough of jolt
I had to think twice
Before giving any promises

I was not rattled
As she allowed me to settle
The storm was over in kettle
There was truce in front battle

We had fun
But witnessed great run
We were liking each other
And finally, made true offer

Let me tell you one thing
She was all set to bring
The much-awaited happiness
And smile on the face
