The Sun dost mount into the sky
From East to West it goes
To brighten up this world of ours
And keep us on our toes.
When skies are overcast with cloud
Then days are full of gloom,
We hope the sun will shine again
And it will be quite soon.
To warm our world and brighten our paths
And make it good to live,
For gloomy days are not for us,
But the sun will gladden our hearts.
