Gliding Through Life Poem by nick feiner

Gliding Through Life

Gliding atop rails away from the city, suburbia was revealed in all it's graffiti splattered glory,
Like hell fire or something out of a Grimm fairy tale,
I pass martyred led filled angels abundant as rain in the amazon, necks strangled from suit and tie, color stripped from flesh, I wonder did they deserve to die?
We're they crooks or curriers, thief's or therapists?
What was the cause or reason? That I am doomed to wonder. As the unspoken questions of many ring clear, there is an obvious need for change. Not from those taking the stage to scream of their outrage but from the whispers of the common persons. Instead we follow the cruel diversions of men who do not know struggle or strife because they were handed a golden life on a silver plater.
