Conceal the hurt I feel inside
Despite the pretence the pirouette
Bravery and bravado brandish outside.

Glitz and blitz in my outfit
Conceal the tears I restrain in my eyes
Despite the pretence in the deceit
Bravery and bravado inject in my lies.

Glitz and blitz in my sentences
Conceal the shame shocking my Cherie
Despite the pretence in the defences
Bravery and bravado pours into my sherry.

Glitz and blitz in my feelings
Conceal the shiver in my voice
Despite the pretence glowing in glass ceilings
Bravery and bravado chime in my choice.
