God Comes Near Poem by Charles Murage

God Comes Near

Moses had interceded with God for his forgiveness and grace that God's presence might continue in their midst.
God ordered Moses to construct tabernacle the dwelling place of Yahweh.
Tabernacle was also known as tent of the congregation or tent of meeting.

Solomon the son of David built the first temple of God in Jerusalem on the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusites, where David had bought to built an altar to God. Solomon built house of Yahweh and his courts in 957B.C.

Jesus the son of God came, crucified and resurrected to offer human salvation and eternal life.
Jesus died to atone human sins to make humanity right with God. The purpose of Jesus was to seek and save the lost.

The whole world was lost in the darkness of sin:
the light of the world is Jesus:
like sunshine at noonday his glory shone in.
