God Has Shown

God has shown His Salvation
In the person of Jesus His Son
The most glorious gift from Heaven
To live with our Father above
And faith has become the true entrance
Faith in Him... The Truth, Life, and the Way
Redemption in all of His glory
The Lord Jesus put on display

And on that cross of Calvary
Jesus paid it all
His death become my way of life
Whatwonder of it all
My sins, your sins, the sins of the world
All placed upon Him there
The Lamb of God our sinless Saviour
O how much He cared

Lord praise You for Your glorious Light
That reveals to us our sin
And leads us to that quiet place
Where we put our trust in Him
We may go to sleep at night
But a Resurrection morning is coming
This gets my soul to praising
And my lips a humming

Thankful Lord to You am I
That You came looking for me
And You had a full and complete supply
Of grace that could set me free
And here am I still rejoicing
For what You did that day
When I believed on the Lord Jesus Christ
My sins were washed away

And purposeful living began new life
Because of my faith in You
I saw eternity as a present possession
I knew it through and through
The Holy Spirit as my Companion
He's with me everyday
I think I have expressed that treasure
What more is there to say!
