You chose me not by race
And help me by your grace
You taught me to give
As long as I live

You bless me with a man
And make me his woman
With laughter of a son
That fence away the sun

He stood tall and grown
And I with my crown
You shown me how to love 
With grace from above 

With you there is no pain
And every day I gain
You teach me to care
And help me to share

My one and only dear
Your smile will I wear
