God's Acre Poem by dripping heart

Surrounded by stones.
Who would of thought this is
where it ends? I walk alone
on it's quiet grounds realizing
with each step I take lies a life long
story. As their bodies lay beneath me
I wonder...... what happens to their souls?
I hope they go to heaven.

In one acre of land hides so many
secrets, so many unanswered questions.
If I could ask these bodies anything
I'd ask is life worth living?

How could it be? A place with this
many people shouldn't be this quiet......
The silence sure speaks for all of us
