God's Love Poem by Saba Sheikh

God's Love

I see the magic of nature,
In the golden of ripe wheat,
In the flowery pasture,
And in the change of autumn tree.

I hear the songs of heaven,
In the rustling of the leaves,
In melodies, birds have woven,
And in the whistling of the winds.

I feel the showering of grace,
When the sun shines bright,
When in moonlight, earth bathes,
And in the rains of summer.

I sense the gifts of Eden,
In the paints of the rainbow,
In the colored fruits of garden,
And in the love of a parent.

This is how I witness God's unbound love for humanity,
And how He has blessed us so much through eternity,
But all in all, in my mind arise some questions,
How can He bless such love, on us sinful creations,

How can He bless us when we love Him not,
When for years, mankind has against Him fought,

Maybe because He knows the truth of our birth,
And the true purpose of our existence on earth,

I think He knows how we will rise with splendor,
And under humanity's roof we will surely prosper,

I think He knows how we will rise and just fight,
Only for love, peace, brotherhood and equality's right,

Then together we shall prove that God's every blessing,
And His unbound love are truly worth living and dying.
