In my childishness
And in my haste

I tried to catch you
to hold you close
to reglow joy

I tried to pull you
to remember you again
to cherish the forgotten

I tried to hold on to you
to make you stay forever
to feel the bliss again

I tried to capture you
to make you last forever
to relish my adolescence

Little did I know that i was trying to catch mere wind
Little did I know that you could only be preserved
In my mind
