God is always with us
He is forever there
Our Idol and our Mentor
Should we falter or despair.

He helps us when we're lonely
And no-one seems to care,
Without Him we would surely fail
And sink beyond repair.
But God's the One to give us strength
To cope each long day through
With love and understanding
He's our rock, so strong and true.

He sits in power and glory
Upon His throne on high
Waiting just to welcome us
To His Mansion in the sky.
