God's Snow Storm Poem by Marilyn Lott

God's Snow Storm

The snow is covering the east coast now
Folks are stopped right in their tracks
Staying off the roads is a must
The governor is trying to watch their backs.

But really, do they have a choice?
For they can barely move at all
Staying inside is truly the best
So their vehicles don't get stuck or stall.

Already there have been deaths, I'm afraid
Winter can be a deadly time, for sure
Hopefully the snow will not last long
Pray God will help them all to endure.

But, of course, nothing lasts forever
Spring will come and weather will be warm
But, this winter will not be forgotten
Many will remember God's violent snow storm.
