God’s Special Angels Poem by Marilyn Lott

It seems to me that it’s apparent
When warm spring weather arrives
That we are sent a gift from heaven
God’s Special Angels that would thrive

He blesses us with spring blooms
And oh, how we’re ready to see
The colors and fragrances of flowers
Designed by God for you and me

He knows how much we appreciate
The work that’s He’s gone through
I’m sure he labored long and hard
For perfect colors so fresh and true

The Iris, with its unique little beard
That fits in with every scene
Colors so brilliant and so charming
Like a lovely precious dream

Lilies pop out for everyone to enjoy
The Pinks with their amazing designs
And a fragrance beyond any other
Promising sweet and cheerful times

I do think that God has created
Flowers to beautify our days
And since we’re so very appreciative
We might thank Him when we pray

And God sent these Special Angels
Down from heaven with His love
To the Angels on the ground
That reside at Spanish Cove!
