God's Truth Or Your Truth? Poem by Long Tooth

God's Truth Or Your Truth?

Is God's Truth or your truth the one you adore,
Though your hand's on the doorknob, did you build the door?
Does the path you have chosen imply you will win,
Or does limited knowledge suggest that we sin?

Fact's hard, but it's clear, that our truth's just a laugh,
And the path you now travel most likely a gaffe,
Your best chance of success is to live in God's sight.
Christ says, "My yoke is easy, " "my burden is light! "

Disgusted that Christ chose to die in your place?
Is your life as a sinner, fair claim to His Grace?
If the wages of sin separate you from God,
Does this sing to your heart, or suggest death's tad odd?

God's grace though can save you but here's the best part,
He has loved you in fact through all time in His heart.
Before the Big Bang, the earth formed, Adam's breath,
God envisioned man's soul, life, and even his death.

When we feel God's emotion, that's heaven I'd guess,
To be one with God growing? Wow! That is largesse!
If God's PLAN'S evolution, now wouldn't that JAM!
For in God rests what's possible, always "I AM! "
