You know, sometimes it’s difficult
To continue the feeling of faith
When devastating things happen
It’s hard to smile with grace

Weather related disasters
Come every single year
Folks pick up and move on
In spite of loss and tears

We may wonder how they do it
How they smile and move ahead
Losing homes and loved ones
Would make you want to die instead

But you see it so very often
The strong pulls it together
Puts the pieces of their lives back
No matter what the weather

I think because there’s someone
Who whispers in their ear
Let’s them know they’re not alone
They don’t have as much to fear

For it’s God who gives a whisper
He let’s these people know
He will be with them no matter what
Because He loves them so!
