God Was Is Will Always Be Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

God Was Is Will Always Be

scribe cares
not who reads
his precious scrolls
in his lifetime words
are written on parchment
carefully each prayed over line

in black ink
dried in scribe
room desert air
later scrolls will be
gathered up sealed in

community
made clay jars
hidden in nearby caves
to sleep sleep over long centuries

then only then
after ages pass
will clay jars be
discovered sealed

scrolls
be unrolled
sacred words
be read as testament

to the truth of prophecy
accuracy of exact copied
inspired words prophetic books
given dictated to prove to lost

later
generations
that God was
is will always be

living
in eternity
outside time
creator of universe

the world waits
to gather his children
up to bless
them with their original

intended
destiny
as children
created in image

of God
destined
to see heavens
waiting

to receive
them when
they time chosen
depart earth
