Goes On Poem by Taher Shemaly

Goes On

Rating: 3.5

Stand up high and raise the hands
in a praise for Almighty up in there
Thanks shall be in every word of excellence
merciful Lord and for Him we shall fear
After thanks giving within golden words
never forget to praise again everyday of near
Then of speeches of heart I shall bring
to your ears as like you never had to hear

Rest this tired head on this old chest
close the eyes that sadness never left
Remember my words to your ears
It is such a feeling never been felt
But life's rage in its ultimate behvaiour
shall kneel down in face of what we built
Crimson is the heart in you and me
but whitish they are and out of guilt

Yes, how come I not to remember
this shining smile over the sun of fields
Might be covered with tears now for some time
for I know goodbies are not easier deals
But I promise you under the eyes of God
this piece of beauty is incurved and it wields
Right here in this core tired of life ahead
without this smile over the sun of fields

Yes, how come I not to remember
the eyes that awakes me in the morning
By its magic my mind was taken away
and by its tears I start up a mourning
Broken my heart but I used to it by time
just let the tears fall no more for crying
This world is as a grain of sand or less
by every dropp of these eyes in its falling

Call me not I to say what was hidden
of secrets I knew about your beauty
Words I might be saying for so long
but never come to an end of its piety
How come my tongue to be speaking
about the magic itself and its divinity
Go ahead Oh part of me and set go
cruel life it is and I am used to its cruelty

It is not by the eyes one can see beauty
nor by the air one can have the love's rain
But it is in the heart even when eyes go blind
where it can be kept for such a sustain
Just like a blossom died out of hot sun rays
though dead but the scent will still remain
This is how my faith for you will be
life goes on sweetheart but don't wait me in vain
