Robert Frost wrote a poem that ends with 'Nothing Gold can Stay'.
What I think is different.
When he meant is Nothing good can stay.
Good things can stay, even though there is bad in the world.
My grandmother say that Robert Frost is hard to understand,
I'm young most poems are hard to understand.
But he just put things in different meaning.
'Nothing Gold
Can Stay'.
I don't know why you would write that.
Gold can always Stay.
i guess 'welcome to PH' young lady. proofread please, as in this line: When he meant is Nothing good can stay. bri :) there are a lot of poems i don't understand on PH; luckily i think i understand most of the ones i've read, including yours.
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
I would like to translate this poem
Good can stay. Without bad, good is not properly evaluated.
