Goldfish With A Gun (A Poem For Children) Poem by Jojoba Mansell

Goldfish With A Gun (A Poem For Children)

Oh help! Won’t someone save me?
This is real, it’s just not fun!
I’ve been attacked by my pet parrot,
now my goldfish has a gun!

He’s stolen all my marbles,
he’s such an evil fish.
I should have bought a gerbil,
if only! I do wish.

I don’t know how to stop him,
should I go call the police?
I’m being held hostage by my goldfish,
I really need some peace.

Why is he such a terror?
How did he get that gun?
Mind you, he could scare my teacher,
now that would be great fun!
