Gone But Never Forgotten
Hot like fire one in a million is what you are,
even tho your not here right now
Your really not that far,
You blessed us with your music and graced us with your love,
The way you were so giving to your fans
And so peaceful like a dove,
Made me love you even more for I knew you were real,
You will never know how much I love you
Or how I really feel,
I remember back in the 90's when you came to my school,
we all lined up for autographs
And some bullies were being cruel,
You said to me don't worry about them there just haters,
just keep doing what your doing
And forget them instergators,
Them words stuck with me and will never leave my heart,
I knew you were special from that point
and not just for your art,
Your Voice your dance moves your looks and acting skill,
the triple threat of R'n'b
Is really quite unreal,
I still can't believe that your not here today
Aaliyah Haughton Gone but never forgotten,

What a heart touching write which shows the face of a true friendship! Your well penned and poignant poem resurrected memories of yesterday when my mother passed away!
