Gone But Nor Forgotten Poem by Ray Hansell

Gone But Nor Forgotten

To see your smiling face
To touch you once again
Brought back many memories
Of you and I back then

So many nights I would remember
How we'd walk along and hold hands
I could never help but think
I was such a lucky man

The nights we shared together
Underneath the moon above
Of all the things we shared
The best of them was love

I think back to those happy days
It always seems to make me smile
'Cause I remember what we had
Even if it was only for a while
