A daughter like father
Always there to help
The Granby Ward Councillor
Was not concerned about wealth
Hers was a good heart
Full of sharing beliefs
Liverpool's first woman
Would take her seat
She cared so deeply
Of poor people's plights
Her aim was always
To support their human rights.
