Good Luck Poem by Samantha Rak

Good Luck

Rating: 3.8

What happens?
What happens when I no longer try?
Will you notice
Or will you just shrug your shoulders
And not even wait for my goodbye?
No more questions
I'm done
I know a lost cause when I see one
I should have seen it sooner
But you had always kept it hidden
It was all a GAME to you
Wasn't it?
You played with my heart
My soul
To you I was just a replaceable toy
Easily replaced
Quickly forgotten
So what happens when you realize
Realize that I had more value to you than you had once thought?
What will happen?
Will you look for that toy?
Good luck
She's already been picked up.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
So this sprouted from a past experience. I admit it is not one of my better pieces but I tried all the same and it still holds a piece of me like all my others. I hope you liked it, if you did WONDERFUL, if you didn't I'm sorry and I hope a future piece or a past piece will be more to your liking. Thank you for reading!
Cheers :)
