Good Riddance Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Good Riddance

Rating: 5.0

Broken picture, had to ditch ya
I've noticed the signs,
you've wasted my time
You're so funny,
You're so funny
Saying you wanted something real,
good riddance

Good riddance
We're moving nowhere close,
each day we grow more distant
i've noticed the signs,
baby, good riddance
We do nothing but fight
baby, goodbye, good riddance
Everytime we talking,
there raises a problem
good riddance
We do nothing but fight

Due to your bad behavior
It did me quite a favor
It was in your nature
to not put in the labor
when I was so determined
gave you a treasure,
which you'd leave severed
Thing is, I rarely fall in love,
This hurt I can't dispose of
You all in my ear,
telling me what you want me to hear,
I had enough
I'd figure I would be vocal
Hear me out on this proposal
I fought and aimed for prevention,
bested only by all the suspicions,
you did what you did
You committed the crime that would
later be so hard for me to
just stand around and forgive

This adventure
took me on a ride that wasn't pleasant
Good riddance, you took us to the present
you done broke the picture,
you can sweep the shattered glass
This ain't love, This isn't love
None of this was worth it,
it done served it's purpose
you were the host who gave me
such low quality service
I can't even take you serious
I just find it all so hilarious
You could not do me right
