you say you are leaving
i watch as you walk away
take with you my heart
take with you my existence
inside i am screaming
i bleed in agony
outside i am strong
confident and together
don't want you to see
hear the 'i love you'
in the final goodbye
hear the things left unsaid
i find a proof for my soul
but my heart is dead
they say goodbye is till tomorrow
till you meet again
i ask myself is that what i want
this parting is excruciating pain
i write these things on a paper
cuz i can't say them to you
but i hang on to the hope
you'll realize it's all true
i gave you everything
i put my soul in your hand
shattered, broken and bruised
in the end, that's all i have
now you are leaving
but i won't say goodbye
i don't want to be apart
i don't want to cry
but i watch as you go
i watch your stride
i can't scream out loud
all i have is my pride
so i silently sit and watch
as you walk away
taking my soul with you
take with you this thing inside me
where my heart is supposed to be
