my dear love, i write
this rhyme for you
to tell you from the depth of my heart
my sentiments are true

your smile
the glow of your eyes
i see the love
im mesmerized

having you so close
that i can feel you breathe
my life story turned over
the knife back in its sheathe

the darkness dissolves
the clouds of agony part
i tell you i love you
it comes from deeper than the heart

i stand by your side
in all these times
hold my hand and close your eyes
once again, our heart beats rhyme

with your presence in my life
i feel i can fly
i soar high above this mountain
i soar high up in the sky

oh my dear love
i hold your hand forever
tough times are worth it
if in the end, we're together
