Goodbye And Goodnight Poem by Leanna Page Markgraf

Goodbye And Goodnight

You were the last good thing
about a town so unreal.
When you left though
there was nothing left to feel.

As the night turned to day
the light turned to dark.
My whole life just
seemed to fall apart.

I watched you leave
and you spoke your last words.
I could not help but to cry
through all the lies I heard.

Then that was it,
you walked out of sight.
All that is left to say
is goodbye and goodnight.
