Goodly Mr. Banks Poem by michael Smajda

Goodly Mr. Banks

I want to thank you, Mr. Banks,
For lending us required dough
To finance and buy this nice house
We live in on Scenery Row.

Without the trust you placed in me,
I have to, honestly, confess
My family is, now, off the streets
And not spending Christmas homeless.
