Tears roll down my cheeks
As I remember you, my hero
And all you went through

You were the light of my day
And my dreams in the night
Your smile was like a lullaby
Singing away all my fears
Your word 'lovely' was a cure that made everyone happy
You called me 'Amalicous' as a name
But to me, it makes me feel happy and I love it

Remember the warm hugs I always get when I see you
Or when you let me use your messaging chair
Or when you would give me salty pretzels

I feel like I have lost all these things
But I truly haven't
I know you are now even closer to me than before
And that you are watching over everyone
So I have to end this by saying
Goodnight, my Hero
