Goon/ The Mind/ Grief, Pain/ Mistook The Dog As The Lion Of The Deserted Forest Track

Goon

How does one turn into a goon?
Mindless action, empty mind,
Bad temper, fits of frenzy and anger,
Spirit, liquor, excitement, drunkenness
Is all that makes for his personality.
Had he understood, he would not have been
As he does not what he is doing, what not.

A bad boy he keeps a bad company
Behaving like a boss of some underworld,
He has nothing to talk of
But cigars, bottles, tobacco, marijuana,
A visitor to roadside ale shops
And a smoker of ganja.

The Mind

What is human mind
And how do we think,
What is it that comes to it?

The mind of man
And his thinking,
How to read it?

Grief, Pain

Grief, how does it afflict us
So that we turn grief-laden and pensive,
What is it pain,
The pain striking us,
What is it the sorrow of life?

Mistook The Dog As The Lion of The Deserted Forest Track

Now the forest
Bereft of exotic, wild imagery
Without the fauna
Sometimes makes us mistaken
The stray dog as
The lion of the forest
Wandering into aimlessly
In search of food.
