When I leave you for a while,
I think I love you more.
My fantasies of you soar.

I live in a fairytale existence.
A dreamy place I know.
Our distance from each other, allows my love to grow.

Why this happens I do not know.
Someone told me that 'absence makes the heart grow fonder.'
He told me this a long time ago.
This sounded so bad and sad.

But in the far and distant land from me,
I know you must be longing for me.
That distance I am away from you,
Is the distance you are away from me.

So our distance from each other,
Makes our souls grow closer.
