Granddad

You were like my dad in every single way,
I love you so much and miss you every day.
I wish that i could see you one more time,
I miss the way you hugged me, your laugh, your smile.

You were the best granddad ever and I'm lucky to have had you,
But it hurts that your gone and i don't know what to do.
I think about you everyday and all the things we did together,
I'm so happy i have those memories, I'll remember them forever.

I know i should be happy knowing the things i do,
Because i know your no loner suffering, there's no more pain to go through
But even though your gone and no longer here,
It feels like you are when i talk to you in prayer.

So remember my Granddad that your Peanut loves you,
And I'll always remember the way you loved me too.
