Grandma's Advice Poem by Paul Wainaina

Grandma's Advice

Rating: 5.0

Grandchild, I wish to tell you this,
Hurry hurry has no blessings.
Better be slow but sure,
'Cause patience always pays

Work hard and smart,
You can be anything you want to be.
Never lose hope or wear out,
Hard work never goes unrewarded.

To these, add discipline and courage,
These values are precious.
And do not ever forget,
That honesty is the best policy.
