Grandpa’s Letter Poem by Talmadge Rogalla

Grandpa’s Letter

A foreign stamp in the corner,
A letter from afar,
From who could it be?
It’s from Grandpapa.
A letter full of hope,
Contained in an envelope.
And so we begin to appeal,
Oh Mum please do break the seal,
And then we all begin to plead,
Oh mum, hurry up and read.
It’s a message full of love,
From a distant land,
Bound by the God above,
But written with Grandpa’s hand.
