Happy Returns Poem by Talmadge Rogalla

Happy Returns

Many happy returns to you,
May your life start all new.
Your company I enjoy,
Unsure and a tad coy.
We define a good friend,
By the ear we can bend.
Blushing cheeks and twinkle in the eye,
You gaze up at the heavens on high,
Hands gasped in front of your chest,
Conversations all in good taste.
Laughter with a thrill,
Better than any pill.
You make me laugh and chuckle,
Until I bruise my belly against my belt buckle.
